2026 WEB TRANSPARENCY NOTICE 

This is a friendly reminder that LAFCo will begin scoring website content on September 1, 2026, with 70 agencies to review between September 1 and December 31. The Web Transparency Scorecard will be publicly released and posted on the LAFCo website in January 2027.

Your agency's report and score from last year are linked below, along with the scoring criteria. If some of the criteria do not apply to your agency, please contact us. We're happy to work with you.

We recognize that some dependent districts and "paper" JPAs have their web transparency information hosted on the County's website. If this doesn't apply to your agency and you need a website, please contact us and we can discuss the options available.

1.    If you've recently created a new website, send us the link.

2.    Add any needed content to your website now. (See Web Transparency Checklist below)

 

In fall 2017, the cities and County requested LAFCo to begin preparing website transparency scorecards for local government agencies modeled after a similar report prepared by the Marin County Grand Jury. The shared vision is to promote open government and transparency for government agencies countywide (cities, County, special districts, and joint powers authorities), thereby fostering public trust and accountability.

On January 29, 2026, LAFCo adopted the 2025 Yolo Local Agency Website Transparency Scorecard Report. The report includes a summary score, plus a full page detail in the attachments for each agency.
